Role Play Haven raises record £5700 in 2025

June 2026, London, UK - The Role Play Haven (CIC)'s mission is not just fun, safe gaming; we are devoted to creating a positive impact through charitable contributions. As our members immerse themselves in thrilling gameplay—whether rolling dice at the tables or embarking on epic quests against dragons and goblins—we prioritise giving back to our community.
In 2025 we further increased our charitable donations to an amazing **£5700**. This was another new record for our initiatives (Critical on 20 roll) and the remarkable achievement reflects the generosity and enthusiasm of our members, supporters and the TTRPG (tabletop roleplaying games) community at large.
Branches
Each branch proudly supports its own chosen charity, uniting members in a meaningful mission to raise funds for vital causes that are near and dear to their hearts. These range from mental health, cancer research, and local hospital support and beyond.
In 2025, we aim to empower our branches even further in their charitable efforts by updating our Role to Raise initiative. Since its launch in 2015, this project has inspired branches to raise money directly for their chosen charities. More news on this initiative will follow soon.
Community
Our community events are held throughout the year at conventions, and support members from low-income backgrounds or part of small charity fundraisers to attend conventions. These events have helped raise vital money for our charities and we look forward to supporting more shows in the coming months.
Role Together
As part of a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are dedicated to using our resources for the greater good, empowering individuals to engage in gaming while making a positive impact on our community and charities. In 2025 we launched our Northampton and Charing Cross Branches, and our Chelmsford Branch opened in April 2026!
About The Role Play Haven CIC
The Role Play Haven began in 2010 as a small group of friends gathering for games before expanding to accommodate a growing community. Starting at The Lewis Club in Lewisham, it quickly grew to over 100 members and expanded with new branches in Stratford, Archway, and Cardiff. In 2015, Role Play Haven became a Community Interest Company (CIC), allowing us to raise funds for charity while continuing to provide a fantastic gaming experience. Despite many challenges, we have continued to thrive, launching more branches, including Edinburgh, and forming the Role Together charity franchise. Today, Role Play Haven is proud to foster a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive role-playing community across the UK, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our hardwork and dedication was recognised with a nomination for the Ian Livingstone Innovations in Games Award in 2023.
